Welcome to Street Soccer Crew. By creating an account or using streetsoccercrew.com (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them — they cover important things about safety and responsibility.

1. We're a bulletin board, not an organizer

Street Soccer Crew is a platform that lets parents list and join pickup soccer games. We do not organize, run, supervise, or attend games. Every game is organized and supervised by the parents who participate in it. We are not a party to any arrangement between families and are not responsible for what happens before, during, or after any game.

2. Assumption of risk

Soccer is a physical activity and carries a risk of injury. By joining or listing a game through the Service, you acknowledge and accept these risks for yourself and the children in your care. You are responsible for your own children at all times. A parent or guardian must remain present for the whole game. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Street Soccer Crew from any claims arising out of participation in games arranged through the Service.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts are for parents and guardians; children do not get accounts. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure.

4. The "verified organizer" badge

The 🛡️ verified badge means our team has confirmed that an organizer has successfully hosted several games and confirmed their identity. It is not a background check, a character reference, or a guarantee of anything. Use the same judgment you would with any activity involving your kids: show up, stay, and get to know the other families.

5. Community rules and content

Our Community Guidelines are part of these terms. Content you post (game listings, profile info, comments, and ratings) must be accurate, appropriate, and your own; don't include children's names or identifying details. Ratings must reflect games you actually attended. Organizers may remove comments on their own games, and we may remove any content, revoke badges, or suspend accounts that break these rules, at our discretion. The Service is free and non-commercial: no fees for games, no advertising, no recruiting for paid programs.

5a. Text messages

If you opt in to SMS notifications, you consent to receive automated texts about games you've joined. Consent is not a condition of using the Service. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or remove your number in settings. You are responsible for keeping your phone number up to date and for notifying us if you give up the number.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that listings are accurate, that games will happen, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Street Soccer Crew's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If we update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and notify account holders by email for significant changes.
